Hudson Update #2

We went to see Hudson right after I updated this morning and things are much better! When we got there this afternoon, they were just circulating room air through his nasal capula (whatever that word means) and they were taking him off all breathing assistance this evening. They are also taking him off the feeding tube today or tomorrow because he is actually bottle feeding quite well. His billirubin level (which causes jaundis) is much lower and he will be taken out of the tanning bed soon! I got to hold him for a long time and was in heaven! He seems so much smaller than Jackson was. He is very long and lean (just like his mom- HAHA!) and seems very fragile. But, hopefully we will be getting him home to fatten him up soon. But, he now weighs less than 6 lbs. and he's got the whole baggy skin thing going. But, he has a sweet little face and hands and feet just like his brother's. OH- Jackson got to go into the nursery to see him today too. We had to hold him the whole time and he has to be very quiet- which was extremely difficult for him- but, he was so excited to see him. His eyes were huge and as soon as we walked out he yelled "I got to see my baby brudda" and started smiling so big! So, much better day today and I am certain that it will only get better from here.
